| Yes I know it has been over two years since Mike's passing, but I will
never forget him. Every time I throw a leg over a saddle, I hear his famous
"wabaaa". And it makes me smile. It's been tough to adjust to losing you Mike,
and there is not a day that goes by that we who knew you don't have a story to
recall. Ride on my Brother. - Scooter |
| The mug shot of Mike below and the one of his
back was taken by Me "Johnboy" the webmaster at the 2005 Spring Thaw Bike Show
& Swap Meet. I knew Mike for over 10 years and I miss him everyday! The day I took
this picture Mike and I were working the exit door to the show for about 3 hours and we
had the best time just talking about good times, family, bikes, music, and friends. Mike
could talk to anybody and that day was no exception as he spoke to everyone that left the
show that day. I asked Mike to turn around and that I wanted a picture of the back of the
Swap Meet Official Shirt that just said STAFF on the back. After he turned around he said
now put it on the website and write underneath it "INFECTION" and we both
laughed! - Johnboy |
| We here at Biker Designs are very sadden to inform you of the passing of
our good friend Mike "MOJO" Martin, he leaves behind his wife Dawn and two
children. Some of us knew Mike for over 10 years he will be missed! Mike loved to ride! I
can't recall the last time I seen Mike in a car, at least a year! He was a former member
of the world famous band Black Oak Arkansas, and a employee of Nissan Motor Corporation
for the last 12+ yrs, and a very talented man, not only with his hands on a guitar, or an
engine but with words as well. Mike could talk to anyone and most often did, If you knew
Mike and ever got sideways with him you knew you couldn't stay that way for long, he was
just the kind of guy you couldn't help but like, or stay ill with! We will miss you
brother! June 5th, 2005. |
